Abstract

This paper explores the development of Hebei Homespun Cloth within the framework of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) preservation, emphasizing the necessity of innovation in its contemporary design and utilization. By examining its historical origins, conceptual framework, cultural symbolism, and economic potential, the study reveals both the challenges and opportunities faced in its modern transformation. Through an analysis of representative brand case studies, it proposes a set of concrete and feasible innovation strategies, offering valuable insights into the sustainable transmission, creative reinterpretation, and revitalization of traditional craftsmanship under the context of intangible cultural heritage protection.
