Abstract
As a fast-growing material with a low carbon footprint, bamboo is an important material for promoting sustainable construction. This paper explores the sustainability of bamboo architecture and analyzes its application in modern buildings, demonstrating its potential for structural innovation and green technology. Combining modern building techniques with the unique properties of bamboo can lead to structural innovations in bamboo buildings that improve their mechanical properties and replaceable sustainable use, and green manufacturing techniques can provide environmental benefits and improve resource utilization. This study evaluates green technologies for bamboo building energy efficiency and advanced materials based on comprehensive analysis and case studies. The results of the study show that bamboo buildings have a vast potential for green building and sustainability. Finally, it summarizes the sustainable development direction of bamboo buildings and discusses the future structural innovation and green technology application.
