Abstract

This study investigates the extraction behavior of 13 lanthanide elements (Ln(III)) by N,N'-dimethyl-N,N'-dioctyl-3-oxa-diglycolamide (DMDODGA) in a sulfuric acid medium, using 40/60 (v/v) % octanol/kerosene as the solvent. The effects of aqueous phase sulfuric acid concentration, DMDODGA concentration, and temperature on the distribution ratio were systematically examined. Slope analysis and thermodynamic parameter determination were performed to elucidate the extraction mechanism.
