Abstract

Concrete quality control is a crucial part of concrete construction. It affects not only the workability of fresh concrete and the mechanical performance of concrete structures but also the long-term durability of concrete components. Therefore, choosing effective concrete quality control methods helps improve the construction quality of concrete projects. This paper designs and improves a mixer for the online observation of cement mortar quality. It also introduces an experimental twin-shaft concrete mixer that can monitor torque, power, and rotational speed data in real-time, providing a basis for online quality control. Furthermore, leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) technology, this study developed an online monitoring system for concrete construction quality and a corresponding data acquisition and transmission system. This establishes a multi-level, networked, and intelligent concrete construction quality control system. The research findings offer technical support for enhancing the quality, durability, and long-term service safety of cement concrete structures.
